About the Camp
The German Guitar Camp 2026 offers a unique opportunity for guitar lovers of all levels to study, perform, and grow in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere. But our camp is much more than a place to gain new guitar knowledge and experience – it’s a space of acceptance, where you can believe in yourself, unlock your musical potential, and feel supported by fellow guitarists, both amateurs and professionals.
Each participant will receive two individual lessons, take part in shared workshops led by Tatyana Ryzhkova and guest teachers, and have several performance opportunities, including a final group concert. There will also be chances to form duos or trios with other participants and enjoy making music together.
This year, the central theme of our German Guitar Camp will be public performance. Many of you probably know the feeling – when you play at home, for yourself or even for your pets, you feel like a great musician. But the moment someone starts listening, that confidence seems to disappear. During the camp, you’ll take part in daily performance sessions in small groups, followed by personalized feedback, coaching, and experience sharing. You’ll have the chance to experiment with different performance techniques and explore how they work in various situations – from intimate settings to larger groups. Our teachers will reveal the techniques they personally use on stage, and you’ll be able to test them all in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.
Above all, the camp is about connection – a warm, friendly atmosphere where everyone supports one another and shares the joy of music. This spirit, familiar from our Italian Guitar Camp, remains at the heart of everything we do.
If you are unsure which week to choose – you are warmly welcome to join both weeks! You are very welcome to come together with your partner. Double rooms can be arranged, and the prices are available for double occupancy as well (see below for more details).

Week 1 — with Tatyana Ryzhkova & Valeria Galimova
Valeria Galimova is one of the brightest young guitarists of her generation, known for her expressive playing and refined artistry.
After graduating from the Russian Gnessin Academy in 2019, where she studied with Prof. Artyom Dervoed, she continued her education in Germany.
In July 2022, she earned her master’s degree with highest honors from the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, studying under Prof. Ricardo Gallén.
Valeria is always eager to explore every aspect of the guitar – from understanding how the instrument is built to studying how our body and mind function while playing. This broad knowledge helps her guide students toward natural freedom, balance, and confidence on stage.
Valeria’s teaching combines depth, precision, and inspiration.
She also lectures internationally on music physiology, helping musicians understand their bodies and perform with freedom and confidence. Her masterclasses bring warmth, energy, and artistic insight that perfectly reflect the spirit of our Guitar Camp.

Week 2 — with Tatyana Ryzhkova & Johannes Tonio Kreusch & Anna Tünde Kováts
Johannes Tonio Kreusch – called “one of the most creative classical guitarists of our time” – studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and at the Juilliard School of Music in New York, and made his solo debut at Carnegie Recital Hall in 1996. He has performed at major festivals around the world.
He is also the artistic director of leading German guitar festivals in Hersbruck and Wertingen, and co-founder of the Ottobrunner Konzerte concert series near Munich.
Johannes works extensively with guitarists of all levels, helping them build stage confidence and develop artistic freedom. His teaching focuses on technique, expression, overcoming performance anxiety, and gaining a deep understanding of music. His openness, kindness, and personal warmth, combined with his exceptional professionalism and experience, make him a great enrichment for our second week.
Anna Tünde Kováts joins us as an additional teacher during the second week, bringing extensive teaching experience and an impressive artistic profile as a performer, composer, and educator at the High School of Arts in Târgu Mureș, Romania. She has guided numerous young musicians to national and international competition success and created inspiring ensemble projects. Her YouTube channel features her own compositions and arrangements. During the camp, Anna leads our Duo and Trio ensembles during the second week and is available for individual lessons, offering participants a wonderful opportunity to benefit from her expertise and musical guidance.
The Location
The historic Diedrichshof is a protected monument surrounded by a beautiful park created by Worpswede artist Bernhard Hoetger in the 1920s. It offers a peaceful atmosphere full of inspiration — a perfect setting for our musical retreat.
